Our Process

To ensure that every client we meet achieves everything they want in their new renovation we follow a seven step process from beginning to end.

Initial Consultation (free)

Every renovation begins with an initial consultation. In this meeting we’ll discuss what you’re wanting to achieve in your home and walk through the existing residence to get a better understanding of how we may be able to achieve your goals.
Using our experience from renovating homes for more than two decades, we’ll make suggestions and give our best advice to you. This will often expand on your ideas and add further improvements of how we could achieve everything you’re wanting (plus often a few great ideas you may not have thought of yet).
We’ll also review your building conditions and block topography as well as checking what you can and can’t do with your local council.

Concept Design

(If you already have your design and documentation you can skip to Pricing).
Using all the information gathered in step 1, we can prepare a concept design for your review.
Your design concept will include the items you’ve asked for in a professional layout that keeps with the original aesthetic of your home. Our priority is to add as much value to your renovation which will also reflect on your homes value. When we present your new design, we’ll walk you through the floorplan in detail. Then, you can take your time to review and advise of any revisions you’d like us to make.

Pricing

Now that your design and documentation are all ready to go, we’ll price everything for you.
This will give you a final figure you can take to your bank for finance approval. If you’re happy with the price and want to proceed, we’ll prepare all the final working drawings, engineering and specifications ready for your contract documents.

Building Contracts & Council Approvals

Your contract documents are ready for your review and signature. Once the contract is signed, we submit the final documentation to the local authorities for their approvals and get ready to begin your renovation. While the documents are with the local council, it’s a great time for you to finalise all your selections and finishes.

Selections And Finishes

Now it’s time to select your final fittings and finishes. You may decide to utilise the services of an interior designer (we can recommend one if you’d like) or you can finalise these on your own. We’re more than happy to help you and lend our experience so the final finishes are perfect.

Construction

Now we’re ready to build. Our construction team will get to work preparing your existing home for the renovations. This may include some elements of demolition and siteworks before the new building renovation work begins.
Our team work efficiently and take a lot of pride in keeping a clean and tidy building site, as well as finishing the construction to a high standard.
It’s not uncommon for us to hold on-site meetings with you and review the building works as they progress. This is a great way for you to begin seeing your wonderful new renovation come to life.

Handover

The day you’ve been waiting for is finally here! You’re ready to accept the keys to your wonderful home and enjoy the new renovation. But before you do, we’ll conduct a final inspection with you and run you through your maintenance schedule. Once you’re satisfied, the keys are yours and your newly renovated home is ready to move in to and enjoy.
